College Gameday Ends Up At USC Vs. Stanford Because Of Oklahoma Upset

Kansas State fans were probably perturbed that Manhattan wasn't chosen as the site of this weekend's site for ESPN's College Gameday to showcase the undefeated Wildcats. Gameday host Chris Fowler cleared up why they ended up at Los Angeles for the Pac-12 showdown between USC and Stanford instead.

"Still, if USC hadn’t beaten Notre Dame, there’s no way we’re at the Coliseum. Zero-percent chance. By default, we probably would have gone back to K-State, even with Oklahoma’s diminished stature. It’s certainly nothing against K-State, but we have to go where the story is."

Basically Kansas State should blame Oklahoma for getting blown apart against Texas Tech, and Dayne Crist for fumbling. That seems about right here.
