An impressive 48-14 win by the Stanford Cardinal was enough to move them up one spot in the latest Harris Interactive poll. Stanford moved up from eighth to seventh, swapping places with Ohio State, who struggled but won, 20-17 over Iowa. The Harris poll is used, along with the USA Today coaches poll, in determining the BCS standings.

Oregon retains the top spot, gaining three first place votes since last week. The Ducks had a bye this weekend, as did Arizona, which is the third Pac-10 team ranked in the Harris poll top 25, at number 21. Arizona moved up two spots since last week, when they were ranked 23rd.
Oregon battles Arizona on Friday in Eugene, Oregon, while Stanford battles Oregon State on Saturday night in Palo Alto. The BCS standings will be released tonight just after 5 p.m. PST on ESPN.
