USC Vs. Washington: Trojans Lead 21-20 At Halftime

In a half that saw very little defense, the USC Trojans outscored the Washington Huskies, 21-20. The Trojans fell behind 17-7, but scored two second-quarter touchdowns to retake the lead.

Washington had 319 yards in the first half, including 207 passing yards by Jake Locker, and 15 first downs. Locker was 15-for-21 with one touchdown, and also had 77 rushing yards on just five carries.

USC had 306 yards and 17 first downs, leading a balanced attack, with 155 yards rushing and 151 yards passing. Matt Barkley completed 12 of 16 passes, but the star of the half for the Trojans was Allen Bradford, who ripped off 99 yards on nine carries, including a 37-yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Marc Tyler, who got the start at tailback for the Trojans, picked up 47 yards on 11 carries, with two touchdowns.

USC had four penalties for 34 yards in the first 30 minutes.

Washington will get the ball to start the second half.
