After two straight losses, USC Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin is understandably unhappy with his team's performance. In his weekly question and answer session, Kiffin said of his defense, "we're just not playing very well right now."↵
Chris Galippo had a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty on Stanford's game-winning drive, a play not forgotten by Kiffin. "[Galippo's] performance really is our issue right now. He played so well, like we've done in two games the majority of the game, then right at the end makes a really poor decision in crunch time," Kiffin said.↵
USC ranks dead last in the Pac-10 conference, allowing 287.5 pass yards per game.↵
Kiffin was quick to praise freshman Robert Woods, who caught 12 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns against the Cardinal, calling him a glimpse of the bright future at USC.↵
USC plays California at home on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PDT, a game broadcast by Prime Ticket.↵
