USC vs. Notre Dame: Chris Fowler issues challenge to Trojans fans for ESPN College GameDay

ESPN College GameDay host Chris Fowler made a video to challenge USC Trojans fans simply to show up as their team hosts the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

College GameDay is coming to The Coliseum for the USC Trojans' game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. While Brian Kelly's team can earn a BCS National Championship Game berth with a victory, there's much less motivation on the side of USC fans, who saw their team slip from No. 1 to finish as a slightly-above average Pac-12 team.

Apparently ESPN is worried about garnering excitement from anyone not wearing the gold and blue. GameDay host Chris Fowler released this video begging asking for Trojans fans to, at least, show up.

"College GameDay is coming to The Coliseum," Fowler says. "It's been there many times for many big games. And I know of the difficulties this weekend. It's Thanksgiving, you have lots of other plans. The Trojans are 7-4, coming off a loss to the arch-rival.

"But here comes Notre Dame, with all of their fans, many of whom are going to show up in LA, behind the set and have a pep rally Notre Dame style. I would think USC fans would not let Notre Dame take over The Coliseum in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday. We know the loyalty of USC fans. We expect some of them to show up and at least represent the USC side on Saturday morning. C'mon, that's a challenge."

Will USC fans accept?
