Nebraska Vs. UCLA 2012: Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

The UCLA Bruins will welcome in the No. 16 Nebraska Cornhuskers to town on Saturday evening. The Bruins are coming off a 49-24 win over Rice, while Nebraska defeated Southern Miss by a score of 49-20.

The key to the game for UCLA will be containing dual-threat quarterback Taylor Martinez. The junior QB went off for 354 yards and five touchdowns last week, completing 26 of his 34 pass attempts. The Cornhuskers also feature multiple running backs to balance out their offensive attack; look for Ameer Abdullah, Rex Burkhead and Imani Cross to split carries out of the backfield.

This will be a tough games for the Bruins, although it is a winnable one if they are able to avoid turnovers and get their kicking game straightened out. Given the large crowd expected at the Rose Bowl, we should be in for some great football this evening.

When: Saturday, Sept. 8

Start Time: 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. local

TV Coverage: FOX will provide the national telecast.

Odds: Nebraska opened as 4 1/2 point favorites.
