The UCLA Bruins basketball program keeps finding itself in the news for all the wrong reasons before the season even starts.
On Monday, the NCAA announced it was investigating potential recruiting violations in freshmen forward Kyle Anderson and freshmen center Tony Parker.
Peter Yoon of ESPN reports that UCLA is holding strong on its faith in the coaching staff of Ben Howland and their recruitment tactics.
UCLA calls recent reports of NCAA investigation into basketball players Kyle Anderson & Tony Parker "misleading and inaccurate"

Parker, a 6'8 center from Lithonia, Ga, is ranked No. 20 by Scout.com, and it would also appear that he is no longer in the NCAA's crosshairs.
The second player under investigation, ESPN.com has learned, is Kyle Anderson. Tony Parker has been cleared.

The above tweet would suggest that Anderson is still under suspicion from the NCAA and it would be a big blow to the Bruins hopes if the 6'8 forward from Jersey City was declared ineligible. Anderson was ranked as the fourth-best prospect in the Class of 2012 by Scout.com and had two double-doubles during the teams three game trip to China.
Fellow freshman star Shabazz Muhammad was not able to travel with the team to China because the NCAA had not completed their investigation into potential violations between Muhammad and two of his financial advisors.
