Conference play across the college football world is about to begin. Pac-12 play has been scattered throughout the first four weeks of the year, but it's about to begin grabbing all the headlines starting Thursday night. Let's take a look at the college football schedule for week five.
The UCLA Bruins will look to get back on track against the Colorado Buffaloes at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday night. The Bruins lost their national ranking after falling to Oregon State overt the weekend, while CU pulled the upset over Washington State to pick up their first win of the year. As for the USC Trojans, they are idle over the weekend as they prepare for a game next Thursday with Utah.
In other Pac-12 action, the Washington Huskies welcome in No. 8 Stanford for a Thursday night showdown on ESPN. No. 18 Oregon State heads to Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats. Oregon will look to defend their No. 2 ranking against the struggling Washington St. Cougars at 10:30 p.m. ET.
Outside of the Pac-12, No. 14 Ohio State looks to remain undefeated against No. 20 Michigan State. No. 25 Baylor will try and pull the upset in Morgantown over ninth-ranked West Virginia and their high-flying offense. The No. 1 team in the country, the Alabama Crimson Tide, host Ole Miss at 9:15 p.m. ET.
