Pauley Pavilion, the storied home of UCLA Bruins basketball, is coming along in its renovation, and now there are a couple of photos out there in social media that give fans and other curious folks a sneak preview at what the new and improved arena will feature.
↵First up, a shot of the Bruins locker room, courtesy of UCLA associate athletic director for development, Josh Rebholz.
↵Next, another photo from Rebholz via his Twitter account. It's the court, which has yet to be installed. So it's the place where the court will be.
↵Things don't look to be totally different from what was once there, at least looking at the shot of the court. That said, everything is expected to be ready by Nov. 9 when the Bruins open the 2012-2013 basketball season against Indiana State, the only other school were legendary coach John Wooden coached.
↵Pauley Pavilion is undergoing a $136 million renovation that will include new locker rooms, lounges, seats, a scoreboard, concession stands and restrooms and a video room. There will also be some new technology in the arena.
