UCLA Basketball Lands Tony Parker, Perhaps Top Recruiting Class In Country

The UCLA Bruins have landed everyone they could possibly want. Can they translate it into results on the court?

Tony Parker, a 6'9", 250 pound center from Lithonia, Georgia and considered a top 10 center in this year's recruiting class, ended up picking UCLA over Georgia, Ohio State and Duke. Parker now could very well challenge for a starting big spot along with Josh Smith and the Wear twins at center, making them the deepest frontline in the conference

Parker now joins perhaps the top recruiting class in college basketball in Westwood. Shabazz Muhammad (considered the top NBA Draft prospect in 2013) committed to the Bruins a few weeks ago over Duke and Kentucky, providing UCLA with an elite slashing talent that could really swing games offensively. Kyle Anderson also provides a unique point guard presence that could. Jordan Adams isn't quite as highly regarded as those two players, but he figures to be an elite slasher down the line.
