Pac-12 Basketball Tournament 2012: Oregon State, No. 9 Seed

The 2012 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament gets underway on Wednesday afternoon at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Here is a look at the Oregon St. Beavers, who lost six of their last nine regular-season games and enter the tournament as the No. 9 seed.

First Round Opponent: No. 8 seed Washington St. Cougars

Season vs. Opponent: The Beavers came up empty twice against the Cougars by scores of 81-76 and 83-73. WSU hold the No. 8 seed as a result, as both teams finished their season with a 7-11 conference record

2011 Pac-12 Tournament Finish: Oregon State also entered last year's tournament as the No. 9 seed. They defeated the Stanford Cardinal in the first round, 69-67, but came up short against No. 1 seed the Arizona St. Sun Devils in the quarterfinals, losing by a score of 78-69.
