UCLA Vs. Arizona State: Bruins Pull Away To Beat Sun Devils

Lazeric Jones scored 20 points to lead the UCLA Bruins to a 66-57 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils Thursday night at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe. The victory was the second straight Pac-12 conference road victory for the Bruins, who lost five of their first six away games in conference this season.

Jones hit three of seven shots from three-point range on the night and also had two steals for the Bruins (16-12, 9-6 in Pac-12), who shot 50% on the night. David Wear added 13 points and seven rebounds for UCLA.

Jonathan Gilling scored 17 points in 39 minutes to lead the Sun Devils (8-20, 4-12). ASU outrebounded the Bruins 32-26 but also shot 40.8% from the field and committed 18 turnovers. The Bruins had 32 points in the paint, compared to 24 for the Bruins.

UCLA goes for the weekend sweep on Saturday afternoon in Tucson against the Arizona Wildcats.
