The UCLA Bruins look for their first Pac-12 road win outside of the Los Angeles area this season as they face the first-place Washington Huskies Thursday night at Alaska Airlines Arena in a nationally televised game on ESPN. In fact, the Bruins haven't beaten a Division I team all season outside of the Los Angeles area, as their only such win outside of the area came against Chaminade on November 21.

The Bruins have won two straight heading into Thursday's game against Washington (14-7, 7-2), who swept UCLA last season. Coach Ben Howland has a 7-10 career record against the Huskies, the only Pac-12 team he has a losing record against.

UCLA (13-9, 5-4) has had three players score in double figures in conference play, in Lazeric Jones and the Wear Twins. Jones has averaged 13.6 points and 5.7 assists in Pac-12 play, while Travis Wear (13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds) and David Wear (11.6 points, 6.2 rebounds) have produced down low for the Bruins. In nine conference games, Travis Wear is shooting 65.8% from the field and 87.1% (27 of 31) from the free throw line.

Washington is led by a trio of young scoring guards, led by freshman Tony Wroten at 17.1 points and 3.3 assists per game. Sophomores Terrence Ross (15.1 ppg, 38.3% from three-point range) and C.J. Wilcox (14.8 ppg, 43.3% from three) provide dual threats from the outside.

Thursday night's 6 p.m. PST game will be televised by ESPN. For more UCLA basketball news and notes, be sure to read Bruins Nation.
