Holiday Bowl 2012 odds: UCLA a pick 'em against Baylor

The Holiday Bowl between UCLA and Baylor remains a pick 'em.

The UCLA Bruins and Baylor Bears are set to face off in the Holiday Bowl and the two teams remain evenly matched in the eyes of the oddsmakers. The Holiday Bowl opened at even odds and the matchup remains a pick 'em according to the latest odds from OddsShark.

Both teams had success against the spread this season with UCLA going 8-5 and Baylor going 8-4 against the spread. The Bruins performed especially well against the spread on the road, compiling an 4-2 record. While UCLA started the season 4-1 against the spread, the Bruins wen't just 2-2 over the final four regular season games.

Baylor, on the other side, went 5-0 against the spread in its final five regular season contests. The Bears played the role of favorite and underdog equally this season. Baylor was favored in six games while being the underdog in six others. UCLA was the underdog in its final three games, but the Bruins were favored in eight games this season.

While no team is currently favored, oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points as the total is now up to 79.
