Having won four straight games, the UCLA Bruins are rising up the college football rankings, including SB Nation's BlogPoll.
The Bruins moved up one spot to No. 17 in the latest BlogPoll, making the top 25 on 63 of the ballots. UCLA, which has received votes in 10 of the 11 BlogPolls this season, was ranked as high as No. 14. Of the 63 ballots, UCLA was ranked No. 17 on 19 of them. The Bruins picked up three 14th place votes and six 15th place votes.
While the Bruins moved up one spot this week, the USC Trojans remained at No. 21. The Trojans were included on 56 BlogPoll ballots, picking up one 14th place vote. USC was ranked 19th on 12 ballots and received an average of 5.49 points per ballot. Points are handed out on a reverse basis, meaning a first place vote is worth 25 points while a 25th place vote is worth one point.
