Bettors have been placing their money on the Bruins this week, as the spread has grown for their battle with the Golden Bears on Saturday. UCLA started the week as one-point favorites on the road, but is now favored to win by a field goal.

The Bruins come into the match-up with a 4-1 record overall and a 1-1 Pac-12 mark. After losing to the Oregon State Beavers, they bounced back by taking down Colorado in Boulder. UCLA looks to be vastly improved under first-year head coach Jim Mora, and can get within one game of bowl eligibility with a victory over Cal.

The Golden Bears have struggled out of the gate, going 1-4. Things were looking up after they nearly beat Ohio State in Columbus, but losses to UCLA and Arizona State have followed. Cal is going to need an impressive late-season run to get back to a bowl, and possibly save head coach Jeff Tedford's job.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
