College football schedule 2012: USC hosts Oregon; UCLA takes on Arizona

Week 10 of the college football schedule brings a pair of important games to the Los Angeles area, as national championship and Pac-12 title hopes are on the line at the Coliseum and the Rose Bowl.

The USC Trojans host the Oregon Ducks. The matchup has lost some its early-season luster, as the Trojans dropped out of national title contention with a loss on Saturday. They can still play spoiler to the Ducks, who need this game to boost their resume after Kansas State and Notre Dame have passed them in the BCS Standings.

UCLA hosts and important Pac-12 South battle with the Arizona Wildcats this week. The winner of the game will take control of its own destiny in the division standings. The Bruins got themselves back into the conference title race with a win in Tempe over Arizona State last weekend.
