Even after their upset loss at Arizona, the USC Trojans lead the Pac-12 South Division. Though the Trojans have the same number of conference losses as division mates the UCLA Bruins and Arizona State Sun Devils following the events of this past weekend.
All three teams have two conference losses each, but the Trojans (4-2) do have one more victory than the other two because they've played an additional Pac-12 game. Furthermore, USC and UCLA are both 6-2 overall, which is tied with Stanford for the third best record overall in the conference.
With a win over the Sun Devils this past weekend, the Bruins now have the tiebreaker of the ASU, which will surely come in handy as the schedule draws closer to December.
Things will surely change over the next three weeks, though, as the Trojans draw No. 4 Oregon before playing ASU and UCLA for the first times. UCLA might have the most difficult schedule, though, as it faces No. 22 Arizona next week before ending the season with two other ranked Pac-12 opponents.
