Coming off a loss to California, the UCLA Bruins hope to rectify their struggles with a visit from the Utah Utes at the Rose Bowl this Saturday.
Utah (2-3, 0-2 Pac-12) comes in with a sputtering offense, and Jim Mora's squad hopes to take advantage.
Utes quarterback Jon Hays has yet to throw for more than 200 yards in a game, and running back John White IV hasn't lived up to the preseason expectations behind an offensive line that has so far failed to open holes for the 5'8, 188-pound back. White has only compiled 301 yards on 78 carries so far in 2012.
Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley is coming off his worst game of the year, a four-interception performance against the Golden Bears.
UCLA (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) also lost to the Oregon State Beavers this season but had a brief stint in the top 25 with a victory over then-No. 16 Nebraska.
Game time, TV channel: noon PT, FOX
Point spread: UCLA opened as favorites by six points.
