UCLA Bruins head coach Jim Mora said that his players can't be intimidated by Utah Utes defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, the mean motor to their defensive front seven. Mora told ESPN LA's Peter Yoon that Lotulelei is one of the best defensive linemen he's seen, and his offensive line will be charged with stopping the preseason All-American on Saturday.
"I've seen them all and he's something else," Mora said of Lotulelei. "He wears those tiny little shoulder pads and he's mean looking and he's quick and he's fast and he's aggressive and he's nasty."
Lotulelei doesn't have the biggest of numbers, but he's still the fifth-leading tackler on the Utes and leads the team with five tackles for loss. He has 22 total tackles along with two forced fumbles and a sack on the year.
That's not bad considering he constantly faces double-teams, something the Bruins will likely do against the 6'4, 320-pound senior, Mora said.
