This weekend was a rather quiet one for the two Los Angeles Pac-12 teams. UCLA cruised to an easy 42-14 win over 1-4 Colorado while USC was off with a bye week.
The Bruins had little trouble dispatching the Buffaloes on Saturday, jumping out to a 21-7 halftime lead then cruising in the second half. It was a strong bounce-back performance for the Bruins who were coming off their first loss of the season. The win moved them to 4-1 on the season and evened their Pac-12 record at 1-1.
That Pac-12 record equaled USC's conference record as the Trojans were off with a bye week. After knocking off California 27-9 last week, USC should be well rested when they take on Utah on Thursday. The Trojans are 3-1 on the season.
Both UCLA and USC trail Arizona State in the Pac-12 South as the Sun Devils are 2-0 in conference play. The complete Pac-12 Standings can be found below.
