UCLA Basketball: Bruins Host Arizona State At Honda Center In Anaheim

UCLA is 31-6 all-time at home against Arizona State.

The UCLA Bruins look to complete their weekend sweep of the Arizona schools on Saturday night as they host the Arizona State Sun Devils at the Honda Center in Anaheim. The Bruins (8-7, 1-2) are undefeated so far this season at the Honda Center, and this is their fourth and final game of the season in Anaheim.

The Wear brothers combined for 34 points on 13-of-16 shooting and 10 rebounds in Thursday's win over the Arizona Wildcats. Travis Wear scored 20, setting a new career high, while brother David Wear added 14. Senior guard Lazeric Jones, shifting to a new role of playing off the ball, added 13 points for UCLA. Jones leads the Bruins in points (13.5 per game), assists (3.8), steals (2.0), three-point shooting (38.9%) and three-pointers made (21).

The Sun Devils (5-9, 1-2) were able to beat USC on Thursday night, but will still be without three players who were suspended for unacceptable conduct for Saturday night's game. Keala King and Kyle Cain, both starters, and Chris Colvin all out mean ASU will be working with a very short roster against UCLA.

UCLA center Joshua Smith suffered a concussion in practice on Wednesday and did not play against Arizona on Thursday. Smith will be a game time decision on Saturday night. The Bruins swept the Sun Devils last season, and is 31-6 all-time against the Sun Devils at home.

Saturday night's 7:30 p.m. PST game will be televised by Fox Sports West. For more UCLA basketball news and analysis, be sure to read Bruins Nation.
