UCLA Vs. Oregon State Game Recap: Bruins Fall In High-Scoring Affair In Corvallis, 87-84

Devon Collier scored 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead the Oregon State Beavers to a 87-84 victory over the UCLA Bruins Thursday night at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. The loss snapped the Bruins' three-game winning streak and ended their 13-game winning streak over the Beavers.

The game was tied at 51-51 with 14:16, but Oregon State went on a 15-4 run to build their largest lead of the game. The Bruins only got as close as three points on a David Wear dunk with two seconds remaining in the game.

Jared Cunningham, the leading scorer in the Pac-12 Conference, scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half, and had four steals, a category in which he also leads the conference. There wasn't much defense in the game, as Oregon State shot 58% from the field while UCLA shot 57.6%, including seven of 12 from three-point range.

Lazeric Jones scored 17 points to lead the Bruins, and also dished out eight assists. Jerime Anderson added nine assists to go with his 11 points. The Wear twins each scored 16 points, with Travis Wear grabbing five boards and David Wear collecting three rebounds.

UCLA battles the Oregon Ducks on Saturday afternoon in Eugene.
