UCLA Vs. Oregon State Game Score: David Wear, Bruins Trail 39-38 At Halftime In Corvallis

David Wear led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points for the UCLA Bruins in the first half, But the Bruins trail 39-38 to the Oregon State Beavers at halftime at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis on Thursday night. UCLA has beaten Oregon State 13 straight times.

It was a hot-shooting half for the Bruins, who scored 20 points in the paint and made 15 of 26 shots from the field (57.7%). Joshua Smith added six points and four rebounds, and was one of five Bruins with at least six points. Jerime Anderson scored seven points and had four assists for UCLA.

Oregon State opened the game on an 8-0 run in the first three minutes of the game, but UCLA tied the score with a 10-2 run of their own. Devon Collier scored 13 points to lead the Beavers, who shot 59.3% (16 for 27) in the opening half. Jared Cunningham, the leading scorer in the Pac-12 at 17.6 points per contest, scored five points in the first half on 2-of-7 shooting.
