UCLA Vs. Oregon State: Bruins Have Beaten Beavers 13 Straight Times

The UCLA Bruins look for their fourth straight win on Thursday night as they battle the Oregon State Beavers at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon. UCLA has owned this series of late, winning the last 13 meetings with the Beavers, including the last six in Corvallis.

The Bruins have had a fairly balanced scoring attack in Pac-12 Conference play, with five different players averaging in double-figures in their five conference games. Travis Wear is averaging 13.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in Pac-12 play, while twin brother David Wear is averaging 10.8 points and 7.2 boards per game. Lazeric Jones, who leads UCLA on the season in points, assists, and steals, has averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 assists per contest during conference action.

Oregon State has lost three straight games, though they do boast an 8-2 home record this season. The Beavers are the highest scoring team in the Pac-12, ranked fifth in the nation with their 82.7 points per contest. Junior guard Jared Cunningham leads the conference in scoring (17.6 points per game) and steals (2.9 per game).

Junior guard De'End Parker, who has missed the last 15 games for the Bruins with patellar tendinitis, is out for the season. Coach Ben Howland said on Tuesday that Parker will apply to the NCAA for a medical redshirt and will look to transfer to a school near his home of San Francisco. Parker scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds in 34 minutes in two games this season.
