2011 Pac-10 Tournament: UCLA Locks In No. 2 Seed, USC Will Be 4th Or 5th

The 2011 Pac-10 Tournament starts on Wednesday at Staples Center. Today is the final day of regular season conference battles, and the seeds are beginning to take shape. Here are today's results so far:

  • Arizona 90, Oregon 82
  • Arizona St 80, Oregon St 66
  • UCLA 58, Washington St 54 (OT)
  • California 33, Stanford 21 (halftime)

Here is an updated look at the seeds and scenarios:

Arizona Wildcats (14-4 in conference): locked into the No. 1 seed

UCLA Bruins (13-5): locked into the No. 2 seed

Washington Huskies (11-6): locked into the No. 3 seed

USC Trojans (9-8): will be No. 4 seed with a win over Washington or loss by Cal; Trojans are 1-1 against both Cal and Washington State, but would win any tiebreaker over those teams due to their 1-1 record against top-seed Arizona, as both Cal and WSU lost twice to Arizona.

California Golden Bears (9-8): will be No. 4 seed with a win over Stanford and loss by both USC; will be No. 5 seed with a loss to Stanford or a win by USC.

Washington St. Cougars (9-9): locked into No. 6 seed

Stanford Cardinal (7-10): will be No. 7 seed if they beat Cal or if USC loses

Oregon Ducks (7-11): will be No. 7 seed if USC wins and Cal wins

Oregon St. Beavers (5-13): No. 9 seed

Arizona St. Sun Devils (4-14): No. 10 seed
