UCLA Loses To Washington, 70-63

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - C.J. Wilcox scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Washington Huskies to a 70-63 victory over the UCLA Bruins in a Pac-10 Conference matchup at Alaska Airlines Arena. Venoy Overton scored 10 points for the Huskies (20-9, 11-6 Pac-10), while Matt Bryan-Amaning pulled down 13 rebounds. Jerime Anderson led UCLA (21-9, 12-5) with 16 points, while Malcolm Lee added 13 points, Joshua Smith had 12 points and 16 boards and Reeves Nelson contributed 10 points and eight boards.

The Bruins held a slim 25-24 lead at the break after holding Washington to just 21.2 percent first half shooting. Wilcox came to life in the second half, however, scoring all 24 of his points after the break, to spark a decisive 14-0 Washington run. The Huskies went 15-of-28 from the floor in the decisive second half, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc.
