2011 National Signing Day: UCLA Secures Four More Commitments

See? This is exactly how fast things can happen on Nation Signing Day. Just a few minutes ago we were talking about having to wait until about 2:00 p.m. for the next important update in UCLA recruiting news. And now, look what we have, four new Bruins, according to the Los Angeles Times.

UCLA picked up four more letters of intent, as defensive lineman Brandon Tuliaupupu, offensive lineman Ben Wysocki, running back Steven Manfro and offensive lineman Conor McDermott have signed.

Tuliaupupu is from Claremont, Calif. and is the 52nd best DT prospect in the nation. He had originally committed to Washington State before switching to UCLA.

None of these players are expected to be major players for the Bruins, but they should at least provide some depth to the roster. And who knows? Maybe one of them will surprise people and develop into a major contributor down the line. Wishful thinking I know, but it could happen.
