UCLA Vs. California: Bears Lead Bruins 40-39 At Halftime

After the first half of play, the Cal Bears lead the UCLA Bruins by a score of 40-39 in Haas Pavilion. There is still 20 minutes of basketball left to play and this game could go either way in the second half.

UCLA is currently being led by sophomore guard Tyler Lamb, who has scored 16 points so far, and sophomore forward David Wear, who has scored 11. The rest of the game's starters, Travis Wear, Lazeric Jones and Jerime Anderson have combined to score eight. The only bench player to score so far has been Joshua Smith, who has four points.

The Bears are being led by senior guard Jorge Gutierrez, who has scored 12, and freshman forward David Kravish, who has scored nine. The rest of the starting lineup, Allen Crabbe, Harper Kamp and Justin Cobbs, have combined to score 17 points, and Bak Bak has added two points off the bench.

Neither team has any players that are in foul trouble heading into the second half. The Bruins are looking to bounce back from a one-point loss to Stanford in the second half and the Bears will be looking to win two in a row after beating USC on Thursday.
