The UCLA Bruins had a lot of talent and potential in 2011, but continued mental errors and inconsistent play on both sides of the ball would prove too much to overcome. Despite the struggles and frustrations with head coach Rick Neuheisel, there was no doubting that his players had a great respect for him and they battled every time they took the field.
This brings us to the question: despite the 6-7 record in the regular season, should coach Neuheisel be allowed to coach his players in the bowl game? He has done a lot for the program and it's not exactly like the program is headed to a big-time BCS game. Let the man finish what he started; what's it going to hurt if he sticks around for another two weeks or so?
