Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl 2011: Four UCLA Bruins To Miss Bowl Game, Including QB Richard Brehaut

According to UCLA beat writer Jonathan Gold the UCLA Bruins will be without four players at this year's Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl due to either academic ineligibility or team rules violations, leaving them a bit shorthanded for their battle with the Illinois Fighting Illini

Gold tweeted earlier Wednesday that free safety Tony Dye, offensive lineman Alberto Cid and linebacker Isaiah Bowens are all academically ineligible, which is the last thing their defense needed headed into a bowl game. Gold also mentioned that quarterback Richard Brehaut has been suspended for the bowl game due to undisclosed violations of the team's rules.

With the regime change of Jim Mora currently taking place, the last thing the Bruins needed was more instability, but they will have to push forward without some key personel.
