The UCLA Bruins are hosting the Pennsylvania Quakers in NCAA basketball action on Saturday evening. The game, one of four that will be played at the Honda Center this season, sees the Bruins in pursuit of a much-needed win as they attempt to get back on the right track.
The Bruins have gotten off to a solid start in the game, controlling the ball well and taking advantage of fast breaks following Pennsylvania scores. They've held a lead throughout much of the first half and hold a 39-35 lead at halftime.
UCLA guard Lazeric Jones leads UCLA scorers with 14 points. He also has three rebounds, two assists and a block. Forward David Wear has six points and five rebounds.
Pennsylvia currently holds a 5-5 overall record and are 2-1 on the road. The Bruins currently sit at 2-5 and are only 1-3 at home in 2011.
