Civil War, Oregon Vs. Oregon State Game Score: Ducks Lead 28-7 At Halftime, 30 Minutes From Pac-12 Championship Game

The UCLA Bruins have already secured a spot in the inaugural Pac-12 Football Championship Game next Friday night. Now they just need to know which Pac-12 North Division team will host them. After 30 minutes of the 115th Civil War in Eugene, Oregon, the Oregon Ducks have a 21-7 halftime lead over the Oregon St. Beavers, leaving the Ducks 30 minutes from securing a spot in the conference title game.

The Civil War will decide the Pac-12 North Division. If Oregon wins, they win the North; if Oregon State wins, the Stanford Cardinal would be the division winner.

Oregon has really dominated the first half, with 393 total yards and 22 first downs compared to just 129 yards and three first downs for the Beavers. Oregon has been hindered by three different drives ending in failed fourth down conversions inside the Oregon State 40-yard line. The Ducks turned a 7-7 game with less than 12 minutes remaining in the second quarter into a blowout with three lightning-quick touchdown drives.

Darron Thomas has passed for 169 yards and three touchdowns for Oregon, but the Ducks have really excelled on the ground, with 224 rushing yards in the first half. LaMichael James has 106 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown, while De'Anthony Thomas ran for 82 yards on just five carries, including a 35-yard scamper down the sideline.

The inaugural Pac-12 Championship Football Game will be played on Friday, December 2 at 5 p.m. PT on Fox. For more UCLA football news and information, be sure to read Bruins Nation.
