The Bruins got 30 points from their starters in the game's opening half, led by guard Tyler Lamb (10 points). UCLA shot 45.2% as a team (14-of-31) and only 21.4% from three-point land (3-of-14).
The Silverswords, meanwhile, have been more than twice as successful from deep. Chaminade is shooting 42.9% from three-point range (3-of-7) and 40.7% on the game (11-of-27). Guard Waly Coulibaly leads the team with 8 points.
The Bruins have been more dominant in rebounds (22 to 13), assists (9 to 5) and blocks (5 to 0) but find themselves ahead by only two points at halftime. The winner of Monday's game will take on the winner of the Georgetown Hoyas-Kansas Jayhawks game, set to begin at 8:40 p.m. PST after UCLA-Chaminade.
