UCLA Vs. Washington: Bruins Fall To Huskies, 74-63

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Matt Bryan-Amaning notched a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Washington Huskies over the UCLA Bruins, 74-63, in a Pac-10 Conference bout at Pauley Pavilion. The Huskies (10-3, 2-0 Pac-10) also received a strong showing from Isaiah Thomas, who scored 17 points and dished out a game-high nine assists. The Bruins (9-5, 1-1), who saw their six game win streak come to an end, posted three players in double figures, as Reeves Nelson tallied a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Honeycutt and Malcolm Lee each finished with 12 points.

Washington shot 51.5 percent from the field in the first half, while holding UCLA to 36 percent shooting to build a 38-31 lead at the break. The Huskies began to heat up at the end of the first half and carried that momentum into the second half, as they utilized a 27-10 run over the span of both halves to build an insurmountable lead. After defeating Southern California on Wednesday, today's win over UCLA marks the first Pac-10 sweep in Los Angeles for the Huskies since 2006.
