UCLA At Oregon: QB Kevin Prince Doubtful With Right Knee Injury

UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince sat out practice Monday night, and his status is uncertain for the Bruins' game in Eugene Thursday night against the Oregon Ducks.

"With respect to the quarterback situation, we rested Kevin today. We hope that he's back to moving around tomorrow, but Richard [Brehaut] had a great practice and so did Darius Bell," head coach Rick Neuheisel said. Neuheisel also said Prince, who had a precautionary MRI yesterday on his knee, "went from questionable probably to doubtful, but we're not ruling him out."

Prince has completed 42 of 94 passes this season, a 44.7% completion rate, for 384 yards, with three touchdowns and five interceptions. He has also rushed for 110 yards and has three rushing touchdowns. If Prince is unable to start, sophomore Richard Brehaut would likely start at quarterback. Brehaut started one game this season, completing 12 of 23 passes for 128 yards in a 42-28 win over the Washington State Cougars on October 2. The Bruins rushed for a season-high 437 yards in that game.
