This is the only meeting between the Ducks and Jets this season.

Ten times the Anaheim Ducks have tried for a road win in the last two months, and 10 times they have been denied. The Ducks look to snap their long road losing streak Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre. Teemu Selanne makes his long-awaited return to Winnipeg.

Selanne broke into the NHL with Winnipeg in 1992 and led the league with 76 goals as a rookie. He spent the first three and a half seasons of his career in Winnipeg before getting traded to Anaheim. The Jets moved to Phoenix in 1996, leaving Winnipeg without a hockey team until the Atlanta Thrashers moved north after last season.

Selanne, now 41 and in his 19th NHL season, leads the Ducks in points this season with 31, including 10 goals. He is 13th on the all-time goal scoring list in NHL history with 647, nine goals behind Brendan Shanahan and the still-active Jaromir Jagr.

The Jets have won eight of their last 10 home games. This is the only meeting between the Ducks and Jets this season. Anaheim is 2-2 on the second night of back-to-back games this season.
