The Diamondbacks used four walks and two hits to plate five runs in the sixth inning, picking up a 6-4 win over the Dodgers on Saturday night in the second game of a three-game set at Dodger Stadium. Justin Upton continued his hot hitting with a three-run double to cap the rally. The two clubs have split the first two games of this series.

Chad Billingsley had allowed one run through five innings, but a touch of wildness affected him in the fifth. After loading the bases with nobody out, Arizona was able to score two runs off Billingsley. After Billingsley issued his fourth walk of the inning, with two outs, to load the bases again, he was removed in favor of Matt Guerrier, who gave up the bases-clearing two-bagger to Upton.

Upton has at least one extra-base hit in each of his last 10 games, the longest such streak in MLB this year.

Matt Kemp was stellarĀ for the Dodgers, hitting a two-run home run to center field in the third inning to give the team a 3-1 lead. Earlier in the game, Kemp singled, stole a base, and scored the Dodgers' first run. It was the third time this season and 14th time in his career that Kemp had a home run and stolen base in the same game.

Before tonight's game with Arizona, the Dodgers made a roster move regarding an infielder...but not involving Rafael Furcal. At least not yet, anyway. Casey Blake was activated from the 15-day disabled list, and Juan Uribe was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hip strain.

Blake has hit .243/.346/.386 in 44 games this season, and has been on the disabled list three different times. The latest trip was for a cervical strain, a literal pain in the neck that has sidelined him since July 3, and limited Blake for a few weeks prior to that. He played in two rehab games with Class A Rancho Cucamonga the last two nights.

Uribe has been a disappointment this year, to say the least. Signed to a three-year, $21 million contract this winter, Uribe has hit .204/.264/.293 with four home runs in 77 games. This is Uribe's second trip to the disabled list this year. Uribe is the third Dodger infielder to make two different trips to the DL this season.

The Dodgers have played well at home of late, and look to continue more of the same Saturday night in the second game of their weekend series against the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers have won nine of their last 11 games at Dodger Stadium, including last night's 9-5 win. Chad Billingsley gets the start today looking for some of that home cooking.

Billingsley has allowed zero or one run in seven of his last nine home starts, and on the season is 5-3 with a 2.31 ERA at Dodger Stadium. He struck out 10 Nationals in seven innings last Sunday at home, and retired 21 of the last 22 batters he faced.

Matt Kemp has been hot of late with a six-game hitting streak. He hit a three-run home run Friday night and also had a two-run single, and leads the National League with 80 RBI this season. During his hitting streak Kemp is hitting .417/.444/.667.

Micah Owings, known more for his hitting than his pitching, gets the start for Arizona today. The .289/.317/.521 career hitter has nine home runs in 208 career plate appearances, but this season he is making a name for himself on the mound. Pitching mostly in relief this year (17 games, three starts), Owings is 4-0 with a 2.36 ERA in 34 1/3 innings.
