<p><font size="2"> Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Jonathan Bernier made 25 saves for his second shutout of the season and the Kings edged the Coyotes, 1-0, at Staples Center. Jarret Stoll's power-play tally in the third period was the lone offense as the Kings won for the fourth time in five games. Bernier started for the first time since February 24. </font></p>
<p><font size="2"> <span>Ilya Bryzgalov</span> stopped 17-of-18 shots in Phoenix's fifth consecutive loss. The game was deadlocked for more than 52 minutes, but the Kings broke the tie with Phoenix defenseman <span>Rostislav Klesla</span> in the penalty box for a high stick. Los Angeles worked the puck around the zone before <span>Anze Kopitar</span>, behind the goal line, found Stoll at the point with a strong pass. Stoll unleashed a slap shot that got through traffic and Bryzgalov at 12:13. </font></p>
<p><font size="2"> The Coyotes put together several rushes and pressured in the Kings' zone in the final minute, but Bernier held strong. </font></p>
