The 2010-2011 NBA All-Star Game will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The official All-Star ballots were released by the league today, and the Clippers have four players on the ballot. Two of the four have been both injured and ineffective this season, but the Clippers' contingent is highlighted by two young budding stars.

The Clippers are Eric Gordon's team now, and he should get strong consideration for a spot on the Western Conference All-Star team. Fresh off a strong performance in the FIBA World Championships this summer, Gordon is averaging 23.6 points per game and 4.9 assists per game so far this season. Just think how good he will be when his long-range shots start to fall, as he is shooting an uncharacteristic 18.9% from three-point range in 10 games this season.

Rookie Blake Griffin has been a strong presence in the paint for the Clippers, averaging 16.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per contest. Chris Kaman, who was an All-Star just last season, was struggling this season, shooting 36.4% while averaging 13.7 points per game, before spraining his left ankle earlier this month. Baron Davis, a two-time All-Star while with the Hornets, has played sparingly this season, playing just 109 total minutes in four games.

Print balloting will run through January 17, while online and text voting will conclude on January 23. Starters will be announced on TNT on January 27.

The 2010-2011 NBA All-Star ballot has been revealed today by the NBA, and the two-time defending champions are receiving the spoils of victory. The Los Angeles Lakers have six players on the ballot, despite as I'm sure many of you are aware there are only five starting spots in basketball. Andrew Bynum's knee surgery has kept him off the court so far this season, but it hasn't kept him off the All-Star ballot, as he is listed as center.

Pau Gasol, who has started all 12 games thus far this season at center, is listed as a forward on the ballot, which could hurt his chances to start the game, which will be played on February 20, 2011 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Make no mistake, barring injury, Gasol will make the All-Star team for the Western Conference. He is averaging 22.9 points and 12.2 rebounds for the Lakers. Gasol is a three-time All-Star, including both of his full seasons with the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant has been voted as an All-Star starter 12 times in his career, including each of the last 11 seasons. He is averaging 26.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.2 assists this season, and figures to be the final starter announced during pregame introductions at his home arena on February 20.

The other three Lakers starters are all on the ballot: Derek Fisher at guard, and Ron Artest and Lamar Odom as forwards. Odom has never made an All-Star team in his career. Artest was an All-Star in the 2003-2004 season, while with Indiana.
