The 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade is under way in Pasadena and is scheduled to continue until 10 a.m. PT. John Cooper, Brian Griese and Ron Yary were each featured during the parade as the Class of 2012 inductees to the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame.
The parade, broadcast on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA, NBC, RFD-TV and Univision, follows a 5.5-mile route at a 2.5 mile per hour pace. Among the floats are the two that represent the University of Wisconsin and Stanford University, the two Rose Bowl participants. Each of the school's bands also performed at the parade.
Each of the floats in the Tournament of Roses Parade is made entirely of natural, organic materials. Among the floats at the parade was the Lutheran Hour Ministries Float entry, which has Jesus at the gates to Heaven.
The unranked Badgers and No. 6 Cardinal will meet at the Rose Bowl at 2 p.m. PT.
