The Los Angeles Lakers will probably need to find more veterans to put around Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant. How about an old teammate of one and an old nemesis of another?
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports fields this report on the Utah Jazz and Raja Bell parting ways, and how Los Angeles might be interested in picking him up.

Another possibility for Raja Bell: The Lakers. Kobe Bryant recruited Bell hard a year ago, and still fits as defensive-minded guard w/ Nash.

Bell would provide the Lakers with a backup shooting guard. He would give them another solid perimeter defender and also someone who can shoot three pointers to stretch the floor when the Laker starters are on the bench.
It remains to be seen if Bell would be satisfied with a limited role, since Bryant figures to play most of his time as a shooting guard and Bell will spend most of his time on the bench. Also, Bell has gone this route with Los Angeles before, flirting with the Lakers in his last free agent period before signing with Utah.
