Andrew Bynum Trade Rumors: Dwight Howard, Lakers Superstar Must Agree To Contract Extensions With New Teams

There are two very big fish left in the NBA trading market in Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers and Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. Howard has the second most impact of any star on a basketball game he's in other than LeBron James, but has proven to be immature in his actions in trying to force his way out of Orlando. Bynum is more offensively gifted than Howard, but struggles to keep his emotional level on an even keel and sometimes finds himself performing well-below the standard that he's capable of playing at.

So now Howard and Bynum are being shopped, and could be involved in a deal of some sort that has the two of them going together. Unfortunately, there are major impediments to a trade happening.

Finding a third team to facilitate the movement of one of the league's best superstars to pair with Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash is probably a little more difficult than you'd think. But the contract extensions is also a huge albatross. Neither Bynum nor Howard seem ready to commit to a new team beyond the 2013 season, when they both become free agents. So the trade talk moves inexorably on.

Talk about Bynum and Howard with Laker fans by heading on over to Silver Screen and Roll, and with Magic fans over at Orlando Pinstriped Post.
