Lakers Vs. Spurs Final Score: L.A. Receives 121-97 Drubbing In San Antonio

The Los Angeles Lakers were in Texas on Friday night to play the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers were hoping to pick up a big win as Kobe Bryant returned after missing seven games due to injury. Unfortunately, things did not quite work out that way, as the Spurs dominated the game and served the Lakers a 121-97 defeat.

The Lakers were outscored right away in the first quarter, 32-25. They entered halftime down just 56-52, but were outscored by 14 points in the third quarter, which pretty much sealed the deal for the Spurs.

Bryant was 7-for-12 from the floor, finishing with 18 points, two rebounds, an assist and a turnover. Andrew Bynum added another 17 points in the losing effort.

The magic number for the Lakers to clinch the Pacific Division remains at 2.
