Lakers Schedule 2012: Showdown With Boston Celtics Caps 4-Game Week

The Los Angeles Lakers had a great start to their second half with three home wins after the All-Star Game, led by a newly-masked Kobe Bryant. The Lakers beat Minnesota on Wednesday, then dispatched Sacramento on Friday, then got one of their biggest wins of the season on Sunday against LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat. Now the Lakers head on the road for three games before ending the week with the rival Boston Celtics in Los Angeles. Here is the upcoming schedule for the week:

↵

Tuesday - Lakers at Detroit Pistons (12-26): This is a very winnable set of road games for the Lakers, who are just 6-12 away from home this season.

↵

Wednesday - Lakers at Washington Wizards (8-28): The second night of a back-to-back set for the Lakers, who have just two back-to-back sets in March.

↵

Friday - Lakers at Minnesota Timberwolves (19-19): The Lakers are not only 2-0 against the Timberwolves this season, but have also scored 100 points twice, a rarity this season for the purple and gold.

↵

Sunday - Boston Celtics (19-17) at Lakers (ABC): Boston has won four straight, and will be looking for revenge for the Lakers' 88-87 win in Boston on February 9.
