Lakers Schedule 2012: Showdown With Oklahoma City Thunder Highlights Week

The Los Angeles Lakers continue their quest for a fifth straight Pacific Division crown, and have a home-heavy schedule in the upcoming week. The Lakers make one trek to Oakland on Tuesday but then return home for a four-game homestand, beginning with the best-in-the-west Oklahoma City Thunder in a nationally televised matchup on TNT on Thursday night.

Tuesday - Lakers at Golden State (7:30 p.m., KCAL): The Lakers are 8-2 in their last 10 road games against the Warriors, but lost in their last trip there, a 95-87 loss last season on April 6, 2011.

Thursday - Oklahoma City at Lakers (7:30 p.m., TNT): The Lakers welcome the team with the best record in the Western Conference in a battle of division leaders and what the Lakers hope will be a preview of the conference finals. The Lakers lost in their only previous meeting with the Thunder this season, a 100-85 loss on February 23.

Saturday - New Orleans at Lakers (12:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): A Saturday day game for the Lakers at Staples Center is rare, but here we are as the Lakers battle the worst team in the Western Conference.
