Kobe Bryant made just three of his 20 shots on Sunday night, including missing a potential game-tying three-pointer in the final second Sunday night against the Utah Jazz. That was just the third home loss of the season for the Los Angeles Lakers, who had won five straight games overall before the setback. The Lakers hit the road for a Texas two-step, and here is the look at the weekly schedule ahead:
Tuesday - Lakers at Houston Rockets (5 p.m., KCAL): This is the second meeting between these two teams this season, as the Lakers beat the Rockets 108-99 on January 3 in Los Angeles.
Wednesday - Lakers at Dallas Mavericks (6:30 p.m., ESPN, KCAL): The Lakers have beaten the Mavericks twice this season, by a total of eight points.
Friday - Portland Trail Blazers at Lakers (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): The Blazers began their year 7-2 and were the darlings of the Western Conference, but are 14-19 since and are 12th place in the conference.
Sunday - Memphis Grizzlies at Lakers (7:30 p.m., ESPN, Fox Sports West): The Lakers have beaten the Grizzlies twice already this season.
