Lakers Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: L.A. Picks Up 5th Straight Win, 97-92

The Ramon Sessions era in Southern California has officially gotten off on the right foot. As the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Staples Center on Friday night, they bid farewell to Derek Fisher and welcomed in new point guard Sessions. The Lakers continued their insane dominance at home, improving their season record to 19-2 at Staples Center with a 97-92 win.

The Lakers pulled ahead with an early lead and were never really in danger throughout, playing with ease and confidence. Sessions played 19 minutes in the game, finishing with seven points, four rebounds and five assists. Kobe Bryant put together yet another exemplary game, with 28 points, four rebounds and three assists. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum both finished with double-doubles.

The victory was the fifth straight for the Lakers, who seem to have righted the ship in a big, bad way.
