Lakers Schedule 2012: Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz Come To L.A.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in a seemingly good place right now. They have won four straight games, and have opened up a 2.5-game lead on the Los Angeles Clippers in the Pacific Division. They upgraded at point guard with Ramon Sessions, added some front court depth in Jordan Hill, ditched two bad contracts in Luke Walton and Derek Fisher, and got younger, too. Now they return home for two winnable games this weekend.

Friday - Minnesota Timberwolves at Lakers (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): The Lakers have beaten the Timberwolves 18 straight times, including three times this season. The Lakers have won against Minnesota 11 straight times at Staples Center.

Sunday - Utah Jazz at Lakers (6:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): The Lakers have beaten Utah at home in 10 of their last 11 matchups and 18 of their last 21 during the regular season. Including the playoffs, the Lakers have won 18 of their last 19 and 26 of their last 29 home games against Utah.
