NBA Standings 2012: Lakers Tied For Sixth In Western Conference

The Los Angeles Lakers had a productive week, winning three straight games before having their momentum halted in Saturday night's 96-87 loss to the Utah Jazz. The loss prevented the Lakers from moving into the top half of the standings in the Western Conference, instead dropping them into a tie for sixth place in a tightly-packed West with the Portland Trail Blazers. The Los Angeles Clippers continued their stellar play and sit atop the Pacific Division and hold the second seed in the West.
